See the folds, see the bends but do you see the light that hits your eye and shatters and calls you in the night? Born Hear the words here in the moment that light your path. The storybook folds in half under the black sky. Child Left to run, the new skin you wear over your bones has taken you so far from your home. Return I hear the whispers of the tribesmen turning round to face the dragon and look it in the eye. To the fire

The ground is all dug up beneath my bed, lay down, been turning circles under the ground. They tell me God threw up the stars and the Devil was chased down and now we're practicing witchcraft underground. And of her restless nature, Love won't sit still. She's pouring out her wishes to the breeze. And in the cold it's passing through my hollow mind, in the breakneck winter I can't speak. The land is all torn up along the edge of town, and the buildings now are burning downtown. And while the old theatre burns, the middle men they earn and their children now they chase their devils down. Of your restless nature, would you sit still and pour out your wishes to the breeze? In the warmth, it's passing through my open mind. In the new born spring I'm listening. And now the ground is all dug up beneath my bed lay down. I've been turning circles under the ground.

When we were young we held our breath, so that hands could lift us to the sky. Our shiny wings and silver eyes will become the love we leave behind. When we give out the temperamental hands beat like wings and chase the frail landlocked feet formed mountains and become the love we leave behind. This love we leave behind the storms we keep inside the eyes we lift to the sky. Before tomorrow I'll have gone away through the silver sheets of rain and carrying water I'll believe it's not poison when we give it away it shines like diamonds under the mountain lines and the love we keep inside the time we leave behind the storm clouds in our minds are carried to the sky.
